Irvine Meadow 10 Ardeer Thistle 0 [29th July 2009]

This game was moved to Meadow Park as Ardeer's home ground wasn't ready for the start of the new season. In the corresponding fixture last season Meadow trounced their local rivals 12-0 and although they didn't quite match that feat they did still manage to hit double figures. As soon as David Hamilton converted a second minute penalty the result was in no doubt and Meadow went onto hit another 9 goals without reply.
